During the use of mobile applications it may sometimes be important to record instances offline, e.g. for the workforce in the field or for deployment scenarios in the warehouse. Offline recording may also be required when the smartphone has no internet connection or is in flight mode.
Please note: For the use of the offline mode the JobMobile license is mandatory.
The JobRouter app offers two options to cover such requirements:
•On one hand, documents can be recorded offline in the DocumentHub at any time and then further processed in the instances (mobile or at the desktop).
•On the other hand, it is possible to download and start start steps, that require no direct access to data bases or third party systems, offline. The start step can be completely processed and sent offline, including document attachments. All settings and information is stored in the outbox. As soon as a connection can be established again, the steps are automatically sent.
Please note: Specific form elements, such as SQL lists, SQL tables, or SQL text boxes, that do not require an active data base connection, cannot be used and processed in the offline mode.
