User manual

The JobRouter user interface is completely web-based, which means that the access by the user as well as by administrators and process designers is performed via the web browser. Thereby all common browsers are supported. It is therefore not necessary to install components on the client.

Accessibility

JobRouter is using the current HTML 5 standard and reflects semantically all elements on the website. The use of the application is optimized for screen readers. The end user can use all relevant functions without limitations, such as login, inboxes, step editing, and the usage of navigation elements. The corresponding tags are available in HTML to support reading out the individual elements.

Operation with the keyboard

The JobRouter website is built as a form. This makes it possible to navigate through individual elements of the website using the tabulator key. Additionally, dedicated key combinations can be used for specific recurring actions, such as the sending of steps.

Zoom functionality / Scalability

As a website, the JobRouter software can be scaled at will using the built-in standard functionality of a web browser.

Utilization of mobile devices (tablets and mobile phones)

The use of JobRouter on mobile devices is possible without further ado. JobRouter offers an optimized mobile website especially for smartphones, where the typical user tasks can be performed. Additionally, the JobRouter form designer is offering the possibility to create specific masks for the mobile user to optimize the display of information.

Platform-independence

As JobRouter is a website that can be accessed from the intranet, the software supports all common operation systems, as long as they have up-to-date browser. Please see the installation manual for an overview of all supported operation systems and browser versions.
