With the SharePoint system activity JobRouter offers a module for the access and management of data and documents in SharePoint lists and document libraries. This enables the user to export, add, change, and delete data and documents from SharePoint via JobRouter processes, which makes the central storage of business information in Sharepoint possible and facilitates the access.
Currently SharePoint pages with list entries (type: list) and document libraries are supported.
SharePoint offers a large variety of different field types. Additionally, the behavior of the column elements can be configured.
Please be aware of the following specific features:
•only field types are displayed in the search filter of the system activity function that searchable (e.g. no images)
•the type Boolean is always provided with 1/0 and requires as entry also 1/0
•the type User / Person delivers e-mail addresses and requires as entry also an e-mail address or user name. The e-mail used in the JobRouter system activity must exist also in SharePoint in the form of a user account.
•if the type Description / Multi-Line Feld is configured as Rich Text, the text is also returned as Html
•for the type Multi Choice the values are delivered comma-separated and are required in the same form
•the type Hyperlink only reads and writes the URL, not the title.
•a URL must always begin with https:// or http:// Otherwise you will get an error message "Invalid URL".
•if the title column is renamed in the SharePoint list, the system activity will still display title as a selection parameter
