A process inbox contains the steps assigned to you of a specific process. These steps may have been assigned directly to you or to a Job Function which you belong to. In the JobRouter navigation menu, click on the corresponding name to open the process inbox. You see a list of steps assigned to you.
Process inbox
An inbox can be set as queue inbox. If you see the button Get next step from queue in the action bar, you have a queue inbox. A queue inbox automatically assigns a new task to you as soon as you finished processing a step. Alternatively you can use the button "Get next step from queue" to request a new step. In both cases you will be automatically assigned the task which has been in the queue the longest.
Above the action bar you can see the name of the process inbox (here: Travel authorization request). Click on Refresh in the action bar at any time to refresh the process inbox display.
What information is shown about the single steps depends on which columns were chosen in the process designer. For example, here you can see the name of the applicant under Applicant. It tells some other useful information.
If actions are set for the box, you can select them in the menu at the end of the list. Tick the checkbox of the steps you want to apply the action on and select the action in the menu. The action will be executed.
A step can be processed by clicking on the corresponding cell. A pop up window with the form to process the step opens. How to process a step or instance can be found in chapter Processing instances.
