Send e-mail to an e-mail address

You can set the following input parameters.

Input Parameters

Description

Subject

Give a subject line for the e-mail.

E-mail body text

Compose the e-mail message.

Sender Name

Enter the sender name.

Sender Email

Add the sender's address.

Reply recipient name

Enter the name that will be used in the recipient line when answering to the sent mail.

Reply e-mail address

Enter the e-mail address that will be used as the recipient when answering to the sent mail.

Dispatch confirmation

Specify if the system activity shall wait until all related e-mail send jobs were processed. Thereby it is irrelevant if all e-mails were transferred smoothly to the e-mail server or if any errors occurred.

Successful dispatch required

If this option was activated, it will be considered if all tasks has been performed successfully or if any errors occurred.

Return receipt must be activated to ensure that this value is taken into account.

Without JR Standard design

Is this activated, the emails will be send out in plain html - without any layout or additional CSS.

E-mail address

Enter one or more e-mail addresses as recipient

CC Recipients

Enter one or more e-mail addresses as CC recipient

BCC Recipients

Enter one or more e-mail addresses as BCC recipient

Attachment

Add one or more attachments.

Please note: You cannot use templates of the type Word template from a process configuration as an attachment.

Header

Additional header can be defined here. The syntax is the following: Headername=Value

The following output parameters are available:

Description

Return value

You receive a return message giving the status of your action (success, error).

You determine to where this message will be written.

Error message

Specify where any error messages arising during the execution of the function should be saved.
