You can create any number of routing rules for a step, and the routing rules can contain different processing deadlines. This gives you another way to dynamically alter the duration of a step. Depending on which condition is satisfied, the flow will be redirected after X hours or Y hours. Read more about routing rules in chapter Routing rule.
Go to the Steps heading in the Designer navigation menu. Click Rules next to the desired step, then New in the action bar to display an overview of rule types. Select the Routing rule. The form box for this rule type appears. In the Advanced section, enter a new processing deadline for the next step, and select the next step to which the new processing deadline applies in the Next step field. Click Save to store your changes.
